Leila Khorraminezhad
I am a postdoctoral fellow in the School of Human Nutrition at McGill University, where I investigate the genomic basis of human diseases, both rare and common, using multi-omics and machine learning approaches. After receiving my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in nutrition sciences, I obtained my Ph.D. in molecular medicine from Laval University under the mentorship of Dr. Iwona Rudkowska. As an FRQS fellow, I specialize in the statistical analysis of omics profiles, multi-omics integration, and machine learning methodologies.
Research Interests: personalized nutrition, epigenomics, metabolomics, microbiome, omics integration, machine learning
Software: R, Python, SPSS, OmicsAnalyst, MetaboAnalyst, and MicrobiomeAnalyst
Additionally, I utilize machine-learning techniques to integrate omics profiles, especially in relation to hyperglycemia, type 2 diabetes, and gut-brain axis disorders such as autism.
