Sirui Shan
I obtained my B.Sc. in the dual major of Nutritional Science and Food Science at McGill University. I initially joined Dr. Kubow’s lab as a Master’s thesis student, where I solidified my interest in inflammatory diseases and nutraceuticals. After one year in the M.Sc. thesis program, I fast-tracked into Ph.D. studies. My goal is to continue the quest for identifying anti-inflammatory bioactive compounds, aiming to contribute to the promotion of healthy aging in the future. When I am not found in the lab, I am probably doing Mandarin dubbing, reading tarot cards, stargazing, taking a walk along the lakeshore, or exploring new gourmet recipes.
